You could think of a lot of people when saying some of Elvis', but say Moonwalk, bam, it's Michael Jackson.

Keith Flint from The Prodigy

the Hair and shadows around eyes

I was at first going to pick bowie without even thinking it over but after a few seconds I think I'm going to have to go with Elvis. His style and flair along with his sequin suit gimmick in his later years just is one of the great rock and roll personas. The impact was insane and rolled out the carpet for the blessed souls who later in life would decide to embrace his persona to become elvis impersonaters.

Freddie Mercury
That flavour saver 'stache and swagger is eternally cool. Rock with a sense of cheekiness.

I love gaudy glam, but I chose "other", I'm voting for Kurt Cobain. The grungy, greasy-looking hair, thermals worn under jeans, the flannel...I will eternally be grateful this look was in when I was a poor college student, looking "grungy" was about all I could afford at the time. :)

I also vote for Cobain, and his Dennis The Menace sweater

I always felt that Morrissey was just riffing on Elvis Costello.
As far as Keith Flint from Prodigy, it took me like 3 weeks to figure out that wasn't Johnny Rotten.
I'd have to go with Elvis, simply because I felt like he influenced so many others (Jim Morrison, Billy Idol, Paula Poundstone....)

Don't forget that lovable little tinker...Shakin' Stevens...

100 housewives were asked what they thought of Shakin' Stevens.
67% said Steven was old enough to shake his own.

I went for the king of glam Mr David Bowie! Having listened to his greatest hits over and over and over and over and over and over (my mum's cd, not mine), he has actually started to grow on me!
With songs like:
Ziggy Stardust
Golden Years
Space Oddity
Jean Genie
Starman
Rebel Rebel
Diamond Dogs
And load more, who couldn't like him?!?!
