Anyone listen to them? I really like the new cd and was wondering if any of you had any opinions on it.

I can't stand their lead singers voice, he sounds like a bad version of Glenn Danzig.

Punk rock has much better stuff to offer, (like Bad Religion)

Didn't they go emo and piss off a lot of fans in the process?

Yeah I heard about that and I'd be worried if an indie band I liked signed to a major label.

However I don't like AFI, so I could care less if they get vast radio play now or not.

I've only heard one of their songs, memorably, called The Lost Souls. Not great, not terrible...I've certainly heard better from the genre.

I've actually met AFI

I was staying at a Holiday Inn in Phoenix AZ for an art camp, and the warp tour was staying there also, i was lifting weights in the gym and they came in and worked out with me. I didn't even know they were in a band til i asked who they were.
