Meet the Feebles

Peter Jackson (BAD TASTE, DEAD-ALIVE, THE FRIGHTENERS, HEAVENLY CREATURES, LORD OF THE RINGS) made a movie featuring muppet-like puppets called MEET THE FEEBLES. Only these "muppets" are bad. Real bad. They deal drugs, film illegal porn... one even has AIDS! It is by far THE sickest movie ever filmed, or one of at least. Anyone but me see this flick? It's not easy to find but you might have come across it.

Meet The Feebles was sick, as Panic said, but it's hilarious. You really do have to have an extremely sick sense of humor to appreciate this film....

I remember getting this movie just to see if I could get a few laughs off a corny muppets rip-off and boy was I shocked. This was one of the sickest(a good thing) movies I had ever seen. Taking something as sacred as Jim Henson's lovable muppets and creating a warped movie like this makes Peter Jackson one of the all-time kings of cinema. You have to see this movie!! Trust me it will be worth your time.

peter jackson is my fave director and this film is a classic. i luv the frog that went to 'nam' and the flashback scenes r cool too. robert or 'wobert is cool too. its great how pete had to break into the studio 2 finish the film off.

Sick, but hilarious muppets spoof. Jackson made sure you would never look at the muppets the same way again. Loved the "Deer Hunter" inspired 'nam scene.

Meet the Feebles (which I have not seen, but I checked IMDB) is rated R. I have heard this movie was cool as hell and a alot of people seem to think that it is the most disturbing, fucked-up movie, ever made. Sorry pal, but your wrong. Go look for Cannibal Holocaust. That is one sick ass movie. It will be hard as hell to find, but if you can find it I bet you cant stomach it. I almost threw up like 3 times, and not only that, but,.....(feels ashamed for watching such a sick movie)....I didnt turn away when they killed a real dog and I had to throw up. It was sick as fuck. Yeah, cannibal holocaust is a lot sicker than meet the feebles, but they are different types of movies. Both are 4/4, but The feebles is more fun. Shit eating fly, psycho hippos, nam rabbits, and more sick and twisted fun. A must see. I hope they get on DVD someday.

You dont understand. They dont just kill the dog by hitting it over the head. Two of them grab the dogs legs, rip it down the middle and than eat its insides. Lets see you stomach that. And I think film would capture it a little differently than your eyes.

By the way, according to www.dvdreview.com, (http://www.dvdreview.com,) Meet the Feebles was just given a DVD release, but it's a crappy print (scratches, faded color, etc.). But hell, at least it's available!

It's real easy to find off Ebay, it's pretty cheap too, for a rare film, only like 10-15 bucks or so (meet the feebles that is)

As far as Cannibal Holocaust, after watching "I Spit On Your Grave" the other day I realized something, being disturbed isn't all that great a feeling. I mean TRULY disturbed. I've seen films that were fucked up and I thought they were "disturbing", but after you see a chick get raped for 45 minutes you truly understand what disturbing is. After that I have no urge to see "Cannibal Holocaust" at all anymore because I didn't like the feeling I got after watching "I Spit".

lol, i love that movie. when they started the sodomy song, i sware i fell out of my chair laughing.

i just got that dvd, not the best quality, but its meet the feebles on print that can be bought so i cant really complain.

as for cannibal holocaust, i used to watch movies like that when i was really depressed, i cant stomach that shit now. i have never seen holocaust, but i have seen jungle holocaus, cannibal ferox and faces of death...NEVER AGAIN, i will never ever watch those movies again. now that i am out of that slump, i just cant stand those movies. i'll watch anything fake now, but if its real i dont wanna see it. i'm over that part of my life.

Yeah, this one was a killer little movie. The songs, the humor, it was all top-notch. Truly a demented, obscure little film. I only wish they'd release a solid DVD version. I'd so be there on the day it was released.
