Interesting tidbit I found via Billboard:
Singer/songwriter Jewel is delving into dance music and jazz on her
as-yet-untitled next album, due June 3 from Atlantic. The first
evidence of this new sound is the single "Intuition," which will be
shipped next week to U.S. radio outlets. The cut was co-written and
produced by Lester Mendez, best known for his work with Enrique
Iglesias and Shakira.

Will this new format work for Jewel or should she stick to what made her popular?

I like Jewel, her "Spirit" LP is one of my all time faves...and I love hip hop so go figure.

She's never really hit the heady heights of success over here in the UK so maybe this new dance sound will give her some success in our charts.

It should be interesting at least :) I think her third album is her best - she diversified a bit with that one, so hopefully this one will be great too.

BCV, Jewel looks ALOT like Renee Zellwegger. Not an insult. She's cute, but needs some dental work.

I actually find Jewel's "fangs" to be sexy. She's illegally hot, so I'd take it as a compliment, BCV.

I think Buck was going for facial similarities, and...hmmmm...I aint too pleased, I'm only 23..how old is bloody Jewel!?

I s'pose it's better than MAMA CASS or similar, but...I'm not best pleased.

"Spirit" is Jewel's second & her most recent is "This Way" & she also released a Christmas Album & A Bk of Poems....
