American Beauty DVD Date?

Does anybody know the official release of the S.E. video and DVD? And what will be the content of the disc?

i don't think american beauty is coming out on dvd anytime soon,TheNuke.because if it's already released on video but not dvd,the dvd might not be released at all.

Bob I know as a fact a special video and DVD are going to be released together because I have heard stuff on the net and even a local store is taking pre-orders. I heard possibly like 4 months from now but I wanted a exact date.

Yeah. It comes out in October, Either the 7th or the 4th. Whichever day makes more sense. It is a little weird that is taking so long considering how long ago the movie came out.

its even stranger to think that was seven short years ago -- it feels like yesterday I was catching AMerican BEauty in theatres -- though less than a year later i got a dvd player for my birthday

Well i bought American Beauty like 2-3 yrs ago from like Rogers video for $9... if a better version comes out I'd probaly upgrade I love that movie.

Yeah I bought this as soon as it came outback in 2000. They need to release a 10th an ed or something next year I'd double dip this bitch in a heartbeat if they'd show us some of that alternate ending

I was trying to find an American Beauty thread, and I found this one.
It's not about the dvd but about people's reaction to AB.
I always describe this film as "disturbing" and I get the same reaction everytime, "Huh, I don't remember feeling disturbed by it at all"

Either I am really sensitive to the character studies in this movie or no else is???

Any imput?
