The Beach, which is a wonderful movie, Is now out on DVD. It's got a lot of extra features. From trailers to music videos. You should save up the thirty bucks and go get a copy.

I haven't seen it yet, you guys seem to be minority on The Beach, most people seem to hate it with a passion!

It was great acting, a great plot, a great director, and It was just a plain beautiful movie.

I like the film as well. I would rate it 6,5 or maybe 7. It has superb acting, gorgeus visuals and a great soundtrack. The screenplay is rather good, but has some flaws to it. For example, Leo's descent into madness was unconvincing. Leo did a good job, but the director and the script didn't handle it right. It happened too fast and surprisingly.

I can't understand why so many people hate the film. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good.

I haven't seen it (yet) as well, but due to the fact that all these girls were talking about it. You know, how much they liked it and what not. So I figured it out to be teen bopper trash, maybe I was wrong.

It's definatly not a tenny bopper movie. It's two hours filled with sex, dope, laungauge, and violence. Leonardo DiCaprio is cool now in my book. I hated Titanic,and Basketball Diaries was ok, but I didn't particularly like him until The Beach where he shows us he's not some goody good mama's boy.
