After an impressive preveiw screening, Jennifer Lopez's romantic comedy MAID IN MANHATTAN peaked at the top with $3,112,328. The horror sequel FINAL DESTINATION 2 also did well first week in with a debut at 2 making $949,730. THE PIANIST has also done well for itself with a debut at 9 and a handful of positive reviews. It so far has made $522,479 to its name. Suprisingly the Antonio Banderas/Lucy Liu action film BALLISTIC managed a 12 debut. Despite not receiving publicity or reviews. It took in $169,133. SOLARIS not suprisingly dropped (52%) and has only made $228,181 after 2 weeks.
