anybody remember USA Saturday Nightmares....it had the dude, captain something, but i remember he would put a face in his hand with his cigar ashes and call him his sidekick lucky...lot of cool horror movies on there...early 80s stuff. anyway there was this one movie, and i dont know what it is. all i can remember is it was about a family....they couldnt leave the house, watch tv or anything....they were freaking out....but it all turned out they were really just dolls in this girls doll house in the end. CRAZY i know, but anybody know what im talkin 'bout???

Commander USA didn't actually host Saturday Nightmares , he hosted Commander USA in the afternoons on Sat. Saturday Nightmares came on at night and had no host. The movie you're thinking of was called Child's Play w/ Mary Crosby. I wish Commander would come back on bc he showed a lot of greeat horror flicks. Commandrs sidekicks name was Lefty

I remember these shows from when I was a kid. Commander USA was cool :) One thing I think was especially good about this show was if you wanted to watch a horror movie with a younger brother or sister etc. having a super hero host made things less scary for them. Too bad they don't make shows like this anymore.
USA Saturday Nightmares, I didn't watch too many of these, even the commercials were creepy. (give me a break I was a kid lol)
Does anyone remember USA Up All Night?

Oh man, how could I forget about Commander USA and lefty?:) Good campy fun, indeed they should make shows like this nowadays. USA Up All Night was cool too, hosted by the blonde girl with the big hooters, Rhonda Shear? It seems like I remember Gilbert Godfried hosting that show also. They showed some of the cheesiest flick they could get their hands on, great stuff!

I didn't know this when I was a kid, but does anyone else think that Commander USA looks a lot like The Comedian from the Watchmen comic books?

commander usa should definately have his own website.... he ranked right up there with elvira to me. i wish a channel would have a horror night with a host again....a cable channel so they could be unedited, just have breaks for the host. that would rule, i would love that job

USA Up All Night was the shizzle! My favorite definitely has to go to TNT's Monstervision, hosted by the heroic Joe Bob Briggs. He even gave a very Arrow-esque movie review complete with gore and nudity highlights! Seriously how did this get cancelled? Can we please start a petition. I remember countless Saturday nights with Joe Bob watching horror, sci-fi, and monster movie classics. I have to go now before I start crying tears of lost youth.

Joe Bob used to host Joe Bobs Drive in Theater on the Movie Channel in the 80s, which was better than his monstervision

The All-Time Best Show Ever on USA had to be Night Flight. It had movies, reviews, previews, videos and some really interesting choices for features, like Fantastic Planet or Rock and Rule, or the Subliminal Mind Control Tapes from the Church of the Sub-Genius. Simply some of the best TV ever.

I once owned a copy of HELLRAISER taped during "USA UP ALL NIGHT". Just thought I'd say that!
