8/29/00-----one great day for dvds

lots of cool dvds are coming out on dvd august 29th. dvds such as.......two or p.t andersons great films, magnolia and boogie nights, terminator two judgement day:ultimate dvd edition, braveheart, and a bunch more i can't think of right now. go to amazon.com and then go to dvds, then go to new releases of august 29th and there will be a big ass list of movies coming out.

How did you get it, becuase for some odd reason a couple days ago I rented Magnolia, and that doesn't come out til' August 29th.

I can't wait till' the 29th when Evil Dead 2: Dead By Dawn, is released in a limited edition tin. I 'm really excited about the extras, especially the preview for the new video game, Evil Dead: Hail to the King.

THere are alot of special edition two disc sets coming out...I've never seen any of the Evil Dead movie, but they look good.

Speaking of 2-disc DVD releases I was watching "Titus" the other day and I thought the 2nd disc may have been put in just to make it more expensive. It was full of useless garbage like wardrobe designs, picture of wardrobes amd frame-by-frame comparisons of clothes worn in the film from storyboard to design to film. I didn't buy this DVD to get tips on what to wear if you are Anthony Hopkins in a Shakespearean play based in Rome circa a Twilight Zone episode where you have chariots, automobiles and newspapers yet no telephones and you get off by raping, pillaging and dismembering bodies in between orgies of sex and food...this was already covered in "Animal House"...
