If you had the power to lenghten the life of one dead rock star for 5 years (after the year of their death), who would it be?

My pick...

BUDDY HOLLY.

Can't do one.

Jim Croce
Freddie Mercury
Buddy Holly

Elvis The Pelvis Presley.

Though I would need more than an extra 5 years. Jeez a lifetime wouldnt be enough.

Although he aint my favourite but I would have Jimi Hendrix resurrected. Imagine what it would of been like if he was alive now. It would probably be cool.

Randy Rhoads. I'd give up every song ever recorded if he could still be alive. The only reason he's not considered the best guitar player ever is because he died when he was twenty-five. If he was still alive today, he'd be the guitar god. :D

Layne Staley- even though he wasn't making music at the present, he needs to be alive. Now.

Brad Nowell (singer/guitarist of Sublime)-his death depresses the hell out of me. And he was such a great great great musician AND a great person as well. God fucking damn heroin! Why!?!? Why must you take so many talented people?!

I'm stuck on the borderline too...

Bon Scott of ACDC would be fantastic as always, so wouldn't Phil Lynott lead singer of Thin Lizzy.

Two somewhat lesser known commodities that were on the verge of breaking through would also be right up there. Ray Gillan (Black Sabbath, Badlands, Sun Red Sun) and Andrew Wood (Mother Love Bone) would have the potential to be really big today.

How what should be done? How to write bad sixth year poetry and die in a bath tub? Sorry if that seems harsh...i've never been a big fan of either Morrison or his band. Unfortunately my friends are so over the years i've been repeatedly force fed his music.

how to have real presance, when you think of the perfect front man for a band he comes straight to the front imo,he had a real aura you could see when he performed people were mesmerised by him,you only have to look at a lot of todays singers they have taken a lot from him, liam galleger and ian brown come straight to mind i like these two but i see a lot of jim's attitude in them.
