Not surprisingly DAREDEVIL took the top honour this week with $3,237,983. Ben's fiancee Jennifer Lopez only declined a little (36%) with MAID IN MANHATTAN which added $972,766 to its takings, which now sits at $6,845,298 after 3 weeks in release. Kevin Kline's Dead Poets Society-ish drama THE EMPEROR'S CLUB didn't give Bennifer much run for their money taking in $193,361 to take the #11 spot. The little less exposed 24 HOUR PARTY PEOPLE and brit horror flick DOG SOLDIERS were the only other main releases. Their limited cinema numbers only gave them $194,173 between the both of them. Due to the Oscar season i'm sure THE HOURS ($5,301,751), THE PIANIST ($1,476,656) and CHICAGO ($15,501,672) will be staying around in the Top 10 a little while longer. So the already declining JACKASS (51%) and FINAL DESTINATION 2 (48%) will most likely continue to drop. However the MTV gross out funner has $4,203,249 after 4 weeks against the gross out horror flick which has $2,506,260 after 3 weeks.
THIS WEEK RELEASES (27th March): The Jet Li/DMX action number CRADLE 2 THE GRAVE goes up against some tough competition in the Australian drama NED KELLY. The hopefully won't be disappointing historical event starring Heath Ledger, Naomi Watts, Geoffrey Rush and Orlando Bloom will most likely be the frontrunner to be next weeks number 1 if Affleck can't hold it.
