Okay, I am tired of being told that playing pool in the pub is 'not excercise'. I think that darts constitutes a fair amount of exertions - Foosball , too. But the question is, if you could make one thing you do well an Olympic event, what would it be?

I find it absolutely disgusting that the Olympics only cater for "fit" people who are basically just lucky enough to be able to run fast. Big fucking deal, running round a track like a bloody greyhound doesn't require any real skill - Scrabble and Cluedo do.

A lazy-bastads olympics with pool, darts (i suck at darts, but what the hell), chess, pie-eating, scrabble, cluedo and Mario 3 would be far better than the crappy stuff they have just now (ooooh, he can jump far!)

pub quiz's could be an olympic event where a load of guy's with thick glasses and hairy ears could sit around in a replecant snug answering questions about different cheeses and the capitals of the world,i for one would watch that on pay per veiw.

I'm quite agile with the lawn mower, and if lawn mowing became an Olympic sport, I would train hard to improve on my speed. I just realized one could also have a lawn mowing relay. When the bag is full, the teammate empties it, and hands it over to the next teammate. Nifty idea, methinks.

Why do kids not play curby anymore?

Okay when I was a kid me mam used to have a fit when we got the ball out for a good game of curby. It was always watch the windows, dont play near the old peoples houses. Stay off the side road as the cars come round that fast. SHUT UP MOTHER.

Sorry was just reliving my childhood. I just wanted to play curby.

For anyone who doesn't know how to play well its real easy.

Two players, One ball, A road that has a pavement on each side with a curb on it. YES. Do we understand?

Anyhows you throw the ball try to hit it on tha curb opposite so it rebounds back to yourself and then you get to have a shot from in the middles of the road. Anyways thats it. LOL. Really.

I was a master at it.

Any other schmoes any good, we could set up a club.:D

I wasn't bad at curby. Little scamps around here still play it, but they're not as cool as I was, not by a long shot. When we played it, if a car came we'd wait then throw the ball over it, trying to get it as close to the roof as possible without hitting the car. Kids today have no balls (not the throwing kind).

The rules of that game were all fucked up, 1 point for hitting the curb, then 10 every hit from half-way, and 6 million points if you throw it backwards over your head. Cool game though.

You had to take totally tiny steps and try and make your feet reallly SMALL as you and your opposition advanced towards each other (usually to decide who got first pick for Team Chase or British Bulldog). First one to step on the others toes got to make the first pick! If you could not decide it that way, you either played Rock Scissors or Paper or would loudly declare...

...as you tried to reach an end to the stalemate (you just chose your mates anyway).

and a personal fave was a game that was part rugby, part full on brawl. it didnt have a name. u got a point if you got the ball into the opponents half. u could do anything to your opponent, punch kick slam, u name it. my brother and myself had a one on one game that lasted 2 hours and ended in a draw. and more bruises than i care to think about. it wasnt big, it wasbt clever, but good lord, it was fun :D:D

I am soooooo good at Pac Man. We used to have one in the youth club I went to and it was 20p a go. We would have pac man tournies it was fab.

God its been years since I played it, now its all these playstation and game boys. Im no good at them.
