1)women never understand the offside rule(see bcv for proof)

2)women spend too much time commenting on the state of the players legs and arses to concentrate on the state of play.

3)women sound shit singing songs like the referee's a wanker

4)women hate it when players blow snot onto the turf

5)women don't drink bovril

6)women should never hear the things that men say during tense matches

7)women are at serious risk of being sexually asaulted by accident when your team score a last minute goal in the cup final.

8)women talk too much, especially when sat directly behind you.

9)women get cold, whilst men take off their shirt's in october to show how hard they really are.

10)most men are chauvenist pigs

feel free to add any other reasons why football should be a women free zone

Grr arrgh: thought I'd respond to these.

1)women never understand the offside rule(see bcv for proof)

I do, I'm a freakin genius

2)women spend too much time commenting on the state of the players legs and arses to concentrate on the state of play.

It's called "multi-tasking". We can't help being multi-talented, it's a wonderful thing which allows us to assess skill and sexiness at the same time. :D

4)women hate it when players blow snot onto the turf

It's cause it fucking mings - you know it's true too boys!

7)women are at serious risk of being sexually asaulted by accident when your team score a last minute goal in the cup final.

I sit next to my dad and brother so not likely!

8)women talk too much, especially when sat directly behind you.

It's necessary to drown out the boring old gits' moaning

9)women get cold, whilst men take off their shirt's in october to show how hard they really are.

Not all women are southerners ;) And you know the only blokes who take their shirts off are insulated by beer bellies :D

feel free to add any other reasons why football should be a women free zone

I think I'll pass cheers. Have fun all ;)

I think after the 5 or 6 different explanations BCV got in the "OFFSIDE EXPLANATION THREAD" ,she's probably the only female in all of the UK to fully grasp the notion of the offside rule. Good for you, girl! :)

ah life giving bovril. because i work at the Molineux, i have actually got one better and have been sneaking into the press area to steal their cups of soup. its even hotter and even more warming than the bovril.

but ya know, should my access card ever be revoked, then bovril is just great by me :)

I would think the rule is pretty self explanatory (even for women). If a player on either team crosses the line of scrimmage before the ball is hiked, he is offsides!

Sometimes I just dont get you foreigners. :D :D

he means the proper offside rule. not the nonsense that you callf football. handball would be a far more apt title...

Too true. They call Rugby League 'football' over here for some strange reason.
