I would say that my favorite Mel Gibson role/performance would be as Martin Riggs in Lethal Weapon. If there's anyone who can do the suicidal role, it's Mel. I also thought he was great as Graham Hess in Signs.

I love Mel Gibson, and I love Martin Riggs, but I gotta go with his portrayal of William Wallace in BRAVEHEART. Simply put: that was one of the ten best performances of the 90s, hands down.
