Gwyneth Paltrow
Definitely MICHELLE PFEIFFER!!!
As much as I like Gwyneth, Michelle is a classic actress, Gwyneth has not reached that status yet. Michelle is definitely the more talented here, and in my opinion she's sexier too.
Alright, now everyone must vote for Michelle Pfeiffer because today is my birthday and that's who I choose to win :D.

Keep voting guys!
And by the way, I have never seen Gwyneth give an awful performance dh, not even in A View From The Top....she even made the most out of her role in that film. You should really rent Flesh and Bone, Moonlight and Valentino. Great Expectations, Shakespeare In Love. The Royal Tenenbaums, The Talented Mr.Ripley, Sliding Doors, Possession.....she was great in all of those films, excellent if I do say so myself........

I completely agree! I'm so pissed that instead of using the word HELL, I must say WHAT THE FUCK!?
I swear some strong fumes must be leaking out of some computer monitors today because everyone has gone crazy...
Gwyneth is NOWHERE near the status of the GREAT Michelle Pfeiffer! I don't know what's wrong with everyone. Gwyneth may be good, but she's not GREAT (at least not yet) and she certainly doesn't deserve to win this tournament. I can't believe she made it this far. Come on guys, it's time to take this bitch out ;)...

Actually I have seen all of those Michelle Pfeiffer movies except The Russia House and she was great in all of them. I never said Michelle was a bad actress, she is actually one of my faves (her best performance ever is in the criminally underrated film Love Field), however Gwyneth's performances overall are superior to hers IMO.

MICHELLE PFEIFFER BY FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
Lets see, where should I begin?
To first start off, she was one of my 'obsessions' before Nicole Kidman. Michelle's appearance is perfect. Her eyes are so blue and her blonde hair just makes me weep. Her face is just soooooooooooo beautiful, she's always looked young no matter what.
And as for her acting, she was unfairly snubbed of oscars in so many movies. Her performances in Love Field and The Fabulous Baker Boys were a-fucking-mazing! In Batman Returns, I LOVED her as Catwoman! She brought that character to life and I will forever associate with her as Catwoman. She deserved an oscar nomination for this year's White Oleander. She's so brilliant in every one of her roles and I love her SO much.
Did I explain enough. CATWOMAN easily gets my vote!

Out Of Africa. Kramer Vs. Kramer. Adaptation. The Hours. The Bridges of Madison County. Before & After. The Deer Hunter. Music of the Heart. Marvin's Room. Ironweed. Manhattan. Postcards From The Edge. One True Thing. And, of course, Sophie's Choice, which features the best female performance ever. What do all these films have in common? They are all on the best actress ever's filmography.

Meryl Streep gets my vote! Yes, Moore is an amazing actress, and 2002 was an excellent year for her, but this is MERYL friggin' STREEP. She has NEVER given a bad performance, and has given great performances for directors like Spike Jonze, Wes Craven, Steven Speilberg, Stephen Daldry, and many more. She has appeared with likes of Haley Joel Osment, Robert DeNiro, Jack Nicholson, Nicolas Cage, Julianne Moore, Ed Harris, Jeff Daniels, Claire Danes, Leonardo DiCaprio, Diane Keaton, and many more! She is more talented than Moore. She has given amazing performances since 1975. She easily gets my vote! I'd LOVE it if she won this tournament.

Plus, she was fucked out of a "Best Supporting Actress" nomination for her flawless turn in MAGNOLIA.
Man do I love this girl! She's already a classic actress and will be around in hollywood forever. Long live her talent!

Well Meryl is only like 12 years older than Julianne, so Julianne is hardly a younger actress.
I love Meryl Streep but I find Julianne to be just a tad bit better. She makes me feel for the character she is portraying consistently, something no other actress, not even Mery Streep has done for me with each performance. That's why I feel Julianne is better.

Just for the record...she was bottomless in Short Cuts. She's done full nude scenes, but she's never been technically full frontal. On camera, at least. That, and only that, is a noticable flaw in her career.
She's the best actress working today, an onion skin's thickness better than Susan Sarandon (who should be her competition here). GP is an excellent actress, maybe the best of her generation. In years to come, she may surpass Julianne, but that's far in the future.
The redhaired army brat, who has gone from cute to gorgeous, who handles everything thrown at her w/ aplomb and a minimum of fuss and hubub, who always turns in a performance that I remember the subtleties and nuances of long after, my number 4 overall most fuckable Babe on this planet, and the soon-to-be Mrs. Bart Freundlich (and I honestly wish them all the best, but offer my services as her mistress...)
