Out of all the movies I've seen in the theaters, I would have to say only a few really stick with me.
Pearl Harbor, talk about a good trailer. 3 minutes plus long(the theatrical, not teaser). This trailer is probably what got everyone so hyped to think this was going to be another movie of "Titanic" proportions. FDR's speech throughout the whole trailer was a very nice touch.
There's something About Mary is another one I really remember just because I remember seeing it so often.
Talk about a long time ago, I remember the Friday trailer way back. "A lot can go down between Thursday and Saturday."
:D :D :D :D
The Insider was another one. Talk about intense! lol.

PANIC ROOM - That last shot of Jodie Foster seeing Forest Whitaker scared the bejeebers out of everyone in the audience.
DUMB AND DUMBERER (the first teaser) - There wasn't a guy at LOTR: TTT that wasn't going "No way! No way!"
THE OTHERS - "I am your daughter!" Brrr...
Ghostface 2000

Spiderman was a brillaint trailer and i liked Harry Potter & TCOS one as well.
A Clockwork Orange-The one on the DVD with the William Tell Overture
The Royal Tenenbaums-Both of the ones on the DVD are fantastic.
Those are probably my favorites.

The second Dreamcatcher trailer made me think I was going to see the single greatest movie in existence. It didn't exactly turn out that way, but it was good enough I guess...
The Rock is another very memorable one for me worth mentioning, as are Aliens, The Matrix, T2 and the T3 Superbowl trailer.
Action movie trailers are the best :D

"We Were Soldiers" had a great trailer that brought out my emotions.
The re-release trailer on the Third Man DVD is also great.

Star Wars Episode I Teaser.
Not only is this preview memorable for me, but it is also more enjoyable then the actual film itself.

Since they usually don't stay with me too long, I have to go for recent ones - I loved THE HOURS and CHICAGO trailers.

Another memorable trailer is the first ICE AGE teaser that was used as the first few minutes of the actual movie (Scrat trying to outrun the ice). Brilliance...

can anyone say Femme Fatale's French trailer. Showing the entire movie in a trailer takes balls. And this one is hard to forget.

The most memorable trailer in my opinion is the teaser trailer for Terminator 2. It shows an endoskeleton being constructed in a factory, it then goes into this artificial flesh machine, and Arnold Schwarzenegger emerges from the machine with his eyes closed. He then opens his eyes, and his pupils are red.

Dark City-A very memorable trailer that never used a single line of dialogue, only flashes and a haunting score to send chills up your spine.
Episode 1: One of the few trailers to ever be better than the movie it was presenting

LOTR: The Two Towers - I just love the part where the orc ladders rise up against the wall. The music is also fantastic.
Star Wars: Episode 1 - Fantastic! Enough said.
Dark City - I agree with everything Scarface said.
Gangs Of New York - This trailer got me hooked. I love the part right at the end that showed Bill and Valin in the smoke.

Pearl Harbor. No question. I remember some of the elderly people getting misty eyed. It was beautiful.
It was far better then the movie.

Memorable trailers:
INDEPENDENCE DAY--The White House blowing up.
GODZILLA--Had a couple great trailers. The one with the guy fishing, and the one with the school children in the museum.
TWISTER--Loved this trailer.
UNBREAKABLE--This trailer was cut perfectly, and didn't give away much either.
