Which horror sequels do you think did a good job of continuing on the story of the preceeding movie?
Which sequel ruine a series?

HALLOWEEN II did a surprisingly decent job of keeping up the suspense of the first film, setting it on the very same night and picking up right where #1 ended.

HALLOWEEN 5 was just a dull, boring embarrassment to the series.

Scream 2 and 3, I really enjoyed them.
Halloween 2 is a pretty good horror movie, I liked it more than the original.

Halloween II and Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers are the best sequels, IMHO.

Halloween: Resurrection is easily the worst.

In Night of the Living Dead, zombies have begun to take over the US....in Dawn of the Dead zombies have populated even more of the US. It does a good job with the continuity.

ROTLD 3 put a niiiiiiiice little twist on the entire scenario. So did Bride Of Re-Animator.
