Marisa Tomei- Yay or Nay?

The first time I fell in love w/ Marisa Tomei was when she played Lisa Bonet's roomate on NBC's "A Different World" for 1 season. "Poof" she was gone, WTF?!?! Marisa has branched out to the movie scence and has NEVER looked back. She has an Oscar trophy for "My Cousin Vinny" and has done an assortment of movie roles so shes a definate YAY!

This woman looks good for her age and is a nearly perfect actress. I loved her in My Cousin Vinny the best. Her oscar was very well deserved.

I love Marisa Tomei. My brother insists that her Oscar Win was one of the most blasphemous occurrences in award history, but I thought she was entertaining in that role. She was also very good in "In The Bedroom." And she looks great.

I recently saw her in a romantic comedy/sci-fi film entitled HAPPY ACCIDENTS with Vincent D'Onofrio. Both actors were very good in it. It was unconventional and interesting for a romance. Check it out.

She's always been good in the movies I've seen her in, even if the movie isn't. She was hilarious in My Cousin Vinny, certainly worthy of her nomination, but I'm not sure about the win. I thought she deserved to win for In The Bedroom, my favorite Supporting Actress perf. of 2001.
