Wow, we get to play Edmonton AGAIN in the first round? This has become a bit of a tradition. lol. Well, that's if both teams make it into the playoffs. Anyhoo, my humble predictions...

I'll post my predictions on Tuesday night as I'm in a playoff pool again this year and I wouldn't want those sneaky bastards to peek in here for a clue as to which teams I'm going for.

Ottawa over the Islanders in 4 - I can't see the Islanders winning the series with the goaltending they have.

New Jersey over Boston in 5 - unless the Thornton, Murray, and Knuble line gets through the Devils defence.

Tampa over Wahington in 7 - Washington hasn't won a playoff series since getting killed in the cup final against Detroit in 98 and Khabibulin been hot lately.

Toronto over Phily in 7 - seems to be the best series on paper and it will be interesting if the offensivley challenged Flyers end up scoring more than 2 goals against my Leafs.

Dallas over Edmonton in 5 - Dallas has too much depth and Turco has played really well this year.

Detroit over Anaheim in 5 - In less J. S. Gigure can stand on his head like he had done all season, but I like the fact that they have finally found support for Paul Kariya.

Colorado over Minnesota in 6 - Colorado's offensive depth is just too much for Minnesota's defence.

Vancouver over St.Louis in 5 - The best line in the NHL Bertuzzi, Naslund, and Morrison and I still don't like the Blues goaltending.
