The Summer Doesn't Officially Start Until June 21, But I Will Let Flicks Released Between June-August Count. If May DID Count, Then X2, The Matrix Reloaded, Bruce Almighty, and Finding Nemo Would All Find Its Way Onto My List.

I'm sorry, but I disagree heavily with your way of looking at the summer. Yes, you are right, the summer does not officially begin until June. However, the SUMMER MOVIE SEASON begins in May with the release of "X2". Therefore, whether you like it or not, it's suppose to be from May through August.

dh1989's Top 10 Most Anticipated Films of Summer 2003

1.) Pirates of the Carribean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (I am DYING to see this film. My most anticipated of the summer. I love the notion of pirates, curses, skeletons, etc. Not to mention it has one of the greatest casts of the summer movie season.)

2.) T3: Rise of the Machines (My second most anticipated of the summer. The first two films are high up on my top ten list of all-time, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is one of my favorite actors. I'll definitely see this one again and again.)

3.) Seabiscuit (This film looks spectacular. Tobey Maguire, Chris Cooper, and Jeff Bridges are all amazing actors and the story rules, I really wanna see this one.)

4.) Hulk (This film scares me, but I am dying to see it. The Incredible Hulk has been my favorite comic book since I was 5 years old. The film does not look that good, but I still hope Ang Lee manages to please me.)

5.) Freddy Vs. Jason (Love Freddy, and I think Jason is mediocre. What does this add up to? I'll see it with medium expectations.

6.) Jeepers Creepers 2 (Loved the original, this one looks even better.)

7.) Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde (See "Jeepers Creepers 2".)

8.) 28 Days Later (Danny Boyle made one of my all-time favorite films, "The Beach", so that automatically gets my interest. Also, this one looks pretty scary.)

9.) Matchstick Men (Ridley Scott and Nicolas Cage guarantee I'll see this crime dramedy.)

10.) Bad Boys II (Hmmm. I don't know. Looks kinda fun.)

I just saw the preview for The League of Extraordinary Gentleman, and it looks awful!!! From buzz and my knowledge of the plot I really wanted to see it, but the preview was terrible.

Seems like "slim pickin's"... it seems like I'm gonna stay away from the multiplexes this summer.
