One year wonders!

Well, title explains it all. List some one year wonders, for players and teams.

Here's mine...

2002
- Jose Theodore. He played excellent throughout the season, went onto the second round. The won the Hart and Vezina trophy. This season hasn't been like last year. As most of you know.

- Jarome Iginla. People thought he was to have another huge season. Flames got him a nice contract, etc. His 50 + goal season really surprised a lot of players and fans. This year, he has done well. But it took him a while to find his groove.

- The Carolina Hurricanes. Another huge year for them. Little team who did a lot of damage in the playoffs. Beating: New Jersey, Toronto, and Montreal. Some of the hottest teams at the time (Toronto will always be a hot team :D)). Lost badly to Detroit, and hasn't recovered.

- Anahiem Angles. Now I know I shouldn't be doing this so early in the season, but I dount they will be as big as last year. Their 2-2( I think) record hasn't been very engouraging. After winning the World Series, they were on top of the world. But I have a feeling they'll miss the World Series.

O.K. here's a real one. How about Buster Douglas' upset over Mike Tyson for the heavyweight title (I guess more of a one night wonder).

hasim rackman(i think thats the spelling)-after he beat lennox lewis with that wondor punch i thought we had something special here,but as we have found one punch does not make a good fighter.

joe johnson-won the world snooker champion ship in the mid 80's got to the final the year after but disapeared off the face of the earth since.

Mark "the Bird" Fydrich- he was due to injury but still definitly a one year wonder

Denny Mcclain-Another tiger and current jailbird who never came close to his 30 win season in 1968

Brady Anderson-a good player overall, but the 50 home run season was a major aberration.
