After her breakout, Oscar-nominated performance in Almost Famous two years ago, the world has waited...and waited...and waited for "It" girl Kate Hudson to follow it up with a bona fide smash hit. And we waited. Finally, she got it this past winter withHow to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, which surprised everyone with its gross north of $100 million at the domestic box office. Now, on July 1st, Paramount Home Entertainment will release the hit chick flick in separate anamorphic widescreen and full screen versions, each with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround tracks and plenty of extras: audio commentary with director Donald Petrie, 5 Deleted scenes with commentary, the "Mapping Out the Location" and "Mapping Out the Perfect Movie" featurettes, and the trailer. Retail is $29.95.
I really enjoyed How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days. It was really cute and funny. Kate Hudson was a blast. I'm sure I'll probably be picking up this DVD...
