Well, with the flood of "yay or nays" in here, I thought I'd offer my favorite actress for your "evaluation".

Now, I know there's bound to be plenty oy "yays", but what I'm really interested to see is if there's anyone out there who actually doesn't like her (and dares to speak up ;) ).

Ummm...me. Guess I'm too picky. She hasn't blown me away, and pictures I've seen of some of the female schmoes here are better.
She's not ugly, but definitely nothing special.

Well I, on the contrary, think she's rather special. So far I love all her performaces I saw. With being a great actresses, she's really adorable and charming. Did I mention beautiful? She has that something about her that can catch me up. Last movie I saw with her was The Hours (Far From Heaven hasn't come to my country yet.... grrrrrr) and she was brilliant there, I thought she should have more screen time. Well, actually as all three actresses... I thought the movie should have been longer...
Anyways, Julianne (I love this name, btw) receives a big yay from me!
p.s. Gonna re-watch Magnolia right now :D She was amazing there!

YAY! Best actress in the world right now with Meryl Streep and Jodie Foster in my opinion, had a great past year, and one of the hottest babe in Hot Babe Land. I'd do her, I'd talk to her, I'd do her again, I'd take her out, man, I'd just fucking marry her if I could. :)

The best actress working today along with Jodie Foster and Kathy Bates, has an actress right now in Hollywood ever been so flawless? She deserved an oscar for practically every one of her roles and she's downright GORGOEUS. Those eyes and that red hair is to die for. Definitely a fav (and always will be).

I didn't say my mom hated her, just that she didnt' really see what all the fuss was about. But then she's only seen a few of Julianne's movies and those only cos I made her. She even wanted Nicole to win the Oscar:rolleyes:. I guess I have to make her watch "Far from Heaven" to set her straight.

Yay. She's a great actress but I don't find her hot (except in Boogie Nights). I mean, she's certainly not ugly but I don't think she's that great looking either. Still a great actress and just seems like a really nice person in real life as well.

I think she's Uber-ugly, but as an acress she's alright.
I like the movies she's IN, but not the actress herself. I don't get mad watching her, but I certainly have no attraction whatsoever, and have no IDEA how ANYONE finds her attractive. At all.

I cant stand her, she's probably one of the only actresses besides Gweneth Paltrow that I can say helps ruin a movie for me.
She can act, but I dont like her personality or her in general. I never found her pretty, hated her in hanibal too

I've never met her (nor I'm sure have you) so I don't feel entirely qualified to to comment but the overwhelming IMPRESSION I have got from seeing and reading interviews and listening to the various commentaries she has recorded for dvds of her films is that Julianne is a thorughly nice, intelligent, down to earth person.

I love her acting, it's brilliant - probably one of the best actresses ever in my opinion. But I don't think she's hot, she's kinda pretty, but nothing brilliant to look at.

As for peoples' opinion of her beauty, I can understand that SOME people may find her beautiful, but I feel sick to my stomach looking at those photos :P
I won't say she's a whore, stupid, can't act... I think she's been tolerable as an actress, but when I had to think which I'd prefer to play beside Hannibal Lecter - Jodi Foster or Julianne Moore - I came up with a bunch of confusing question marks in my head as to why ANYONE would want to choose either one of them!
But to each his/her own, right? It's good to have different tastes so that everyone in the world will have someone for them. :)

Huge fuckin yay. Julianne Moore is the single greatest actress out there today, and the second best ever (behind Ingrid Bergman). She's given amazing performances in Far From Heaven, Magnolia, Boogie Nights, The Hours, and many more, and she can be funny as hell too, especially in The Big Lebowski. Plus she's beautiful and just seems like a very nice, pleasant lady.

As for Julianne Moore: She's a huge YAY in my book. There's no doubt for me that she's one of Hollywood's best contemporary actresses; she also seems to be an intelligent, humble, and charming lass. Plus, she's pretty hot!
