Umm....Dvdfile seems to have a review of Daredevil

Screeners usually don't have the special features that are found on the subsequent release. Occassionally reviewers get 'review copies' which have the dvds just without a finished case. BUt I don't know the specifics since i am not a reviewer.

Im not a huge guy on dvd production (although i would like to be), but I would guess they have production copies or demos of the disk to show to studio reps or something. I would also guess the commentaries and features are already done, but thats just me.

Yeah, it's very early, but I don't think that DVDfile.com would publish a fake review ...and their editor-in-chief Peter Bracke (who reviewed this baby) is a trustworthy guy. Have you all read what he said about the sound quality: "Reference-quality" and "demo-disc material". And the extra features don't sound too shabby either. Can hardly wait!

Well, I just meant a review screener/advance copy. Not like a "For your consideration" screener. Animeondvd.com always gets new DVDs months in advance for reviews.

Here's a new one. We've gotten plenty of press releases before, even goodie bags with lots of toys, but never have we got an actual DVD with the announcement. Until now. Fox Home Entertainment has announced the full specs for the upcoming July 29th release of the superhero hit Daredevil, and along with the rather unique "newspaper" press release (complete with tabloid headlines containing all the specs), we got the complete set, too. So with the announcemnt they got the DVD also... thats pretty neat!

Yeah, it's completely real... I've been going to DVD File for awhile now and I trust them completely. They wouldn't go through all of that trouble making it up, that would be stupid.
