I was forced by a friend to go see this movie. Since it was 2 for 1 and Legally Blonde was playing, I decided to see Legally Blonde, then leave. Unfourtanitely, The Princess Diaries was first, so I had to see that first. Well, here's my reviews:

The Princess Diaries:5/10
I was brought to the sneak preview of this movie which is like those ugly duckling movies which are VERY predictable. Mia Thermopolis is a loser. She's unpopular with an inpopular friend called Lily(Heather Matarazzo). Lily's brother (Robert Shwartzman) is attracted to Mia, but Mia is attracted to Josh the jock(Erik Von Detten) whose with the popular girl(Mandy Moore). Well, what Mia didn't know is that her father is the Prince of Genovia, a country between France and Spain. Well, her mother divorced him since he left her to go to Genovia for his duties, while Mia's mother wanted Mia to be normal, so she raised her in an old firehouse in San Francisco where she comes downstairs using a pole(?) Julie Andrews plays the queen who comes to tell her the news. Now Mia must choose between being a princess or not. If she doesn't the country will either destroyed since no one is running it, or it will be taken over by some ugly couple. Well, she becomes pretty and everyone knows about the princess thingy. This movie was slow and I mean SLOOOOOWWWWWW. Who would turn down the offer of ruling a country? I wouldn't. She decides to not be princess after a school prank was on the news. So what. Anyway, this movie had its funny moments. I liked Larry Miller as the man who made her a princess. He had one funny part. Well, the movie's predictable, slow, and boring. I give it a 5.

Legally Blonde-7/10
This was a funny movie. It's cute like Joblo said. That's like the whole movie. Reese Witherspoon plays Elle Woods. It starts off with her getting ready for the night her boyfriend is going to porpose to her. Actually, he's breaking up with her because he wants to be a senator by 35 and wants a Jackie not a Marilyn. Elle wants him back, so she goes to Harvard law where he's going. Actually, he's already engaged to another woman(Selma Blair) which causes rivalry. She gets to be an intern to a case after getting really good grades. The case is a woman(Ali Larter) who's accused of her husband's murder. Well, it's another predictable movie. I really enjoyed this movie, especially her dog. Overall, I give it a 7 because it's just fun and enjoyable.

Yeah, this should be in the current movie talk forum... Anyway, I also really enjoyed LEGALLY BLONDE, A LOT, it was very good. Reese Witherspoon gave an excellent performance. It was a cute movie and I had a great time. I laughed quite a bit and was overall very satisfied and pleased with Legally Blonde. I'm going to the movies this weekend and I'm either going to see this again or The Fast And The Furious again. Both are excellent summer movies. Every once in awhile it's nice to get away from intelligent thought provoking movies and just see something fun. And both "Blonde" and "Furious" are those movies, very fun summer films... THUMBS UP to both...
