Hey xdrive!

You live in Dothan? Cool. I went to school in Auburn. Live in Atlanta now.

NOTLD (original version) is one of the best ever to watch alone in a dark house in that docu-style B&W.

Scared the bejesus out of me the first time I watched it by myself late one night!

i gotta say i wasnt as thrilled, entertained or happy with the outcome of NOTLD (original) it was overhyped TOO much if you ask me,i mean i can see why it was praised by horror fans back when it came out or such, but it wasnt anything to me...i still would like to see the remake.

I absolutely love the original. I hate to admit but one of the few black and white movies I enjoy. I guess growing up with all this hi tech stuff has spoiled me a bit. I throw this movie in from time to time and always get a kick out of it. Sure it doesn't have the gore and other things that movies has these days but it is fascinating to see the master aka George Romero do his first film. I didn't quite care for the remake the last time I saw it but I may have to watch it again.

BTW, damn I wish we had a old school horror channel up here. IFC is sometimes good at that during Halloween time.
