It certainly looks like it, though I can't see an exterior balcony where they shot one scene.

According to IMdB, a lot of filming was done at Ettington Park in Warwickshire. Is that the same mansion you're referring to?

Yep,it is. Sure looks alot creepier then the remakes house,'eh?
