Does anybody know if they´re gonna release the Twin Peaks-episodes on DVD? (And the movie too for that mather).

I think I heard that they were discussing it, but I haven't read anything concrete.

The first season of the Twin Peaks series is already in the works from Artisan. I don't know if a release date has been set yet though. The movie Fire Walk With Me is already completed for release by New Line and is supposed to be realeased later this year. However there is somewhat of a snag with the movie.

David Lynch is fighting to have over an hour of new footage added to the disc. The footage includes scenes with all the original cast members and even features several scenes showing the events that happened after the series ended. Lynch has edited this footage together to be shown seperately on the disc as a new Twin Peaks episode. New Line was supposed to release the DVD with all the new footage already this year but the company that owns the rights to the extra footage his is refusing to let New Line use it without a hudge price tag.

New Line is holding up this release till they decide wether or not the want to pay the extra money. If you are interested in seeing this footage send an e-mail to New Line because they have suggested that how much fan support they get will be a deciding factor on wether or not we'll ever see the new scenes.

Thanks VERY much for that info. I just found out about the 3h40min version of Fire walk with me yesterday. I´m gonna find the new line e-mail adress and let em know. Does anybody know the adress, by the way?
I suggest all TP fans bomb them with e-mails!
