Wierdest Ghost Stories you've heard

After spending many years at a site called the Shadowlands, I got to hear a lot of freaky stories involving people's struggles with the supernatural. Does anyone know of any ghost/demon stories that really stuck with you?

My mom told me about my uncle's house in Oklahoma. There's this one room that has an evil force that holds you down in your sleep. She also told me about these "were-owls" that are really witches and evil spirits.

One story that I'll always remember is of a place in Massachusetts called Charlesgate. Apparently when you enter the town, the sign that reads "Charlesgate" has little demons on the letters. Emerson College had dorms in that town and anyone caught with an Ouiji board will be expelled. Over the years, many students had to drop out after being horrified by "something." There were sightings of "typical" ghosts in the dorms. These were among the more disturbing:

A piglike creature that was known to simply sit on the bed in one room staring down the witness.

Two mail imps that peformed sexual acts on each other in mid-air. Those two trouble-makers were also known for staring down witnesses.

My friend's house is really old and spooky, and he's had so much trouble with wierd goings ons there that I have no idea how he manages to carry on living there.

i've gone thru so much shit w/ my house man, it all centered around the hall closet *the door's old so it doesn't close all the way an creaks everytime it's opened* and the sposedly "fake" ouija board i had. was like my birthday a few years ago an a few of us are really into the paranormal so we got out the board cuz a few times before me an this kid mike had tried it an managed to get this same person an mike asked him where he was in the house an it said upstairs an he forced me upstairs an opened the closet an ya know those breezes that're colder than it really should be on a summer day? well i felt that an freaked...anywho...at the birthday party we were just messin around an that same person came back an after a while we all got freaked out enough to stop. and then mike was goin up stairs to p an he got to the top step an saw that the hall closet door was open. i can assure you all that no one was upstairs before or while we were messin w/ the board. after that freaky shit started happening, mike would have recurring dreams of this guy in a black suit an this woman dressed in red. the woman in red wouldn't be any harm, but the man in black was. it lasted a few weeks, the dreams an noises that i would hear at night, then finally i had a dream of a man *matching mike's description* in black that appeared in the spare room w/ my dresser when i went in there an all he said to me was "you can't know it but you can believe it" then he walked away. later on he came in the doorway to my room an picked up a softball an like made it turn hot. the last i saw of him he was climbing in the bathroom mirror. that was the end of it, even tho ppl are still afraid of the closet.
another time, we were doin the ghost in the mirror...that was freaky as hell.
but the best ghost story i can tell is in the book "Echos of a Haunting" it's about a family living in hinsdale, NY (*it's a small town located right next door to me*). the house still stands and i recommend this book to anyone...just don't read it at night...

Tonight Sci-Fi channel had "California's Most Haunted" and "Unknown Encounter." Both shows featured a woman who dealt with some freaky shit in her house. Paranormal investigators came by to check out the attic and one of them was assaulted and almost hanged.

Another story I read from the Shadowlands was about a house at a place called "Druid Hill." There was this kid who was being bothered in his room at night. First it started as someone pulling his blankets, then he started to see an old woman. Eventually the woman told the kid to commit suicide. The basement was the most unfriendliest place in the house. A priest came over to bless it, but he couldn't last in the basement. He felt as though he would go insane.

I'm watching that too. I like stuff like this... but this is poorly produced and some of the stuff seems concocted. Other stuff seems like they're making something out of nothing. How come they showed a shot of the Ouija board before they played with it yet there's no actual footage of them using it? Funny how the most terrifying things occur when they just happen to have the camera off.

They talked about the woman whose story inspired the film The Entity. She claimed that two smaller entities would hold her down while a third spirit would rape her. I think that's one thing they left out of the movie. Apparently, she's gone missing in real life ever since 1987.

I used to hang out with a bunch of punks and we used to always search for new places to party/squat, and one of these particular places was a house up on a deserted hill, we called it the zombie house because it resembled the mansion from Resident Evil (The Game) and so we decided to party there.

Well one night me and a friend of mine decided to go there at like 3 in the morning. So we went in with nothing but a lighter in hand (Very NOTLD) and saying I was scared was a understatement, I was freaking terrifyed!!! So we walked through this Ginormous house just checking out every room. And it was a huge house, and everything looked refinished, almost like there was nothing wrong with the house.... Well there WAS something wrong with the house; all of a sudden a loud thud was heard and it sounded like someone was running laps upstairs. FREAKED we decided to do the 'Cliche' horror movie' thing and investigate. Well we decided to see if it was a bum trying to freak us out, no one was upstairs so we thought maybe it was our imagination. We heard it again. So this time we had to bolt. We were freaked but the only exit was the basement door because thats where we broke in at.

I jumped ahead of my comrade and ran in front of him figuring if something is going to get killed it's him. We got the fudge outta dodge! So as we ran out my friend say's he felt something grabbing almost scratching at the back of his neck as we left. I too also felt a unearthly prescense that didn't feel right at all.

So we returned the next day with a Posse of people just to prove our point. Like 10 of us went inside whilest we made our dates stay outside to keep a look out. When we went in the activity seemed to triple, we heard the running noise again and doors opening and closing. We decided to see what would happen if we stayed up stairs in the attic.. So we all went into the attic and just sat there waiting for some kind of prescense.

All of a sudden my vision twisted and contorted and I felt extremlely sick to my stomach, I had to get the heck outta that house... So I stumbled down the stairs and ran outside I feel to the ground and started gagging. I don't know what made me puke and I don't know what the hell was in that house. But all I can tell you is that you would have to pay me alot of money to go back into that attic.

i showed that to my bf an he hadda step out cuz he was gettin chills down his back an his eyes got all watery an then other person that saw it was gettin all wierded out an shivery an shaky after she saw it...all i got was chills
