I've played this....Its actaully pretty fun and works quite well- however, the EIGHT pages of rules are a bit tedious to follow and I found myself loosing interest by the end.


Not a movie...but a fun game...if you play the song "Everybody Must Get Stoned" and drink everytime they say the word Stoned you will pretty much be drinking the entire length of the song and certainly feel a little different in about 15 minutes. It's fun!

Here's my all-inclusive Movie Drinking Game, good for any film you're watching:

1. Drink once for every "Nice Headlight." Meaning, a closeup of a car headlight being turned on or off. You'll be surprised how many movies have a shot like this when you're looking for it.

2. Toast and chug when a character says the movie's title. Sure, this won't work when Jason Goes to Hell is on, but think of the fun to be had while watching Dad.

3. Drink when "This Scene Has Been Sponsored By _____." Whenever a shot is dominated by blatant product placement, reflect on the brand you're imbibing while sucking it back.

4. For hardcore movie geeks, take a shot of whiskey when a movie's pan-and-scan hackdom distracts you from what's going on in the shot. Any hard liquer will do as long as it complements the woozy effect the non-widescreen video creates. The Professional and The Straight Story are ideal movies for this rule.

5. Spot a continuity error and choose another player to drink.

6. Drink when a character drinks. Like a ciggie when someone on screen does. If a character sparks a doob, make sure you're prepared. Furthermore, chug when an actor is unconvincing while using these props (like, not inhaling or taking baby sips).

7. Drink for every night scene when the streets are improbably "rain"-soaked. Lethal Weapon, which is set in Los Angeles where it rains maybe five times a year, is a good choice here.

8. Drink whenever a rearview mirror is removed to ensure a non-obstructed view of all the characters riding in a car.

9. For TBS viewings, drink when profanity is changed to incomprehensible goobledegook.

10. Drink for every uncredited cameo by a major celebrity.

Fright Night. Drink anytime one of the Characters names are said. The actors in this movie say the characters names at least 8 times in EVERY scene! I was watching it the other night and I couldn't help but notice it. I understand saying them a lot in the beginning of the film to get the audience familiarized, but dude they say them so much it's overkill! The cast is like 5 people deep, we KNOW the names already!! Seriously, heed my advice and pop this in when friends want to play a drinking game, you will be amazed....

I counted name dropping 10 times in a 2 minute scene.
