I was playing Cludeo the other day and it reminded me of that 80s movie, Clue. The movie was based on the game and featured Christopher Lloyd and Tim Curry. Does anyone have any mopre details or even pictures of this film. I would love to see it again.

Uh, I've seen Clue (7/10) about one meeelion times. It's an old favorite with my circle of friends, who like to get a sloshed and pick a character to act like (I'm partial to Mrs. Peacock: "The police will be here by then, and there are TWO! DEAD! BODIES! IN THE STUDY!!!"). We also dig Clue VCR - not playing it, just watching the wildly entertaining cheesy acting ("I was never in Sumatra!"), but that's another story...

Here (http://www.geocities.com/hollywood/boulevard/1664/picspromo.html) is a site with a few pics from the movie.

"Do you like Kipling, Miss Scarlet?"

"Sure, I'll eat anything."

Clue was cast so well - with a lot of "classicily" trained actors playing their parts to a T.

Clue was one of my favorite movies growing up- don't ask my why!- but for some reason my friends and I just decided to rent that everytime we went to the video store. I just couldn't get enough of them--and I loved Colonel Mustard- I think I was always him when we played the game.

I was actually disappointed when it first came out, it was shown in the local cinemas and the newspapers had it listed as "showing with ending a", "showing with ending b", and "showing with ending c" in the ads around here. I was only in the range of the ending a and c cinemas so I didn't get to see the ending b ending until the video came out :) It was well worth the wait :D

This movie rock s :D

If you like Clue, I suggest you check out Murder By Death (if you haven't seen it of course), it's got the same feel. I just showed it to my GF for the first time the other night and she loved it :)

Yeah, I went to see ending "B" when it was out. The usher was handing out promo detective pads like you get with the boardgame, and on mine was written "Miss Scarlet did it." My first SPOILED movie.

I didn't see the other two ending until the movie hit VHS. I do remembering ROFLMAO when Mrs. Peacock was revealed to be the killer. I thought it was the funniest thing ever...

They didn't give us pads :( Now I feel jipped :(

The movie was worth it though :D
I was shocked to find out that communism was just a red herring :D

Clue (8/10) is one of my favorite pure-comedies. I've watched it way too many times; so much so that I can recite the entire part where Tim Curry tells them all whodunit. Hilarious movie and an excellent cast. Madeline Kahn is especially brilliant.

Yeah, I loved Murder by Death (9/10) and Clue (8/20) 2 classic whoodunnit/comedies. Also, you can see Eileen Brennan (Mrs. Peacock) as Tess in Murder By Death, before she got into the car accident that eventually made her look older.

I love Clue, it's an hilarious movie. Fave bits were Jane Weidlin's cameo ("I...am...your singing telgram!" KABLAMMO!!!!), and Michael McKean revealing himself to be an undercover cop at the end of the last possible ending, when he wrapped up the case and said "Now, I'm gonna go home and HAVE SEX WITH MY WIFE!!" Great stuff.

Leslie Ann Warren was my favourite character, especially the way she screamed melodramatically at the optimum moment during Tim Curry's descriptions of all possible solutions to the crime.

I forgot that was her :D

Peter Sellars just sold me on that movie right away :D

I was surprised when I realized James Cromwell (LA Confidential) was Perrier's Chauffeur :) I never realized he was acting that long, I thought Easy Street was his first acting job. I was wrong :)

I love this movie. The entire cast included the best timing in the buisiness. The jokes were really abundant, and Colleen Camp is simply hypnotic.

20 minutes into GOSFORD PARK, I couldn't help but to think back on Clue.

I loved this movie, the cast was great and it had some really clever jokes. I'll watch anything with Martin Mull, I'm a huge fan.

Murder By Death is also one of my favorites, the blind butler absolutely killed me.:D

I also had that Clue VCR game that FeverDog was talking about. The acting was absolutely hilarious in that.:D I'm gonna have to try and dig that up and watch it again.
