also Rules of Attracion. it was a love hate..but for most i think it was a hate. but it was wicked!

The Pledge(9/10)
This was one of the ten best films of 2001 easily. Jack Nicholson turned in a superb performance. Sean Penn proved that he knows how to use a camera and tell a story effectively. One of the best of the 2000's.

Personally, I liked the first 30-40 minutes of the movie, but I just felt like the ending cheated me a little...I would have appreciated more clues (there were all of the one or two small clues before the ending)...it just didn't "blow" me away like it should've.
Also, the middle was a bit dull imo, and the Halle Berry scene was stupid. Like, I obviously  don't mind her stripping, but like, seriously, her topless scene just comes out of nowhere, and has no relation to the plot. He just comes up to her in a random scene, five seconds, she just shows her breasts, and end of scene. Like, they could have at least fit it into the movie a little more!...
My cousin loved it to begin with (and still loves it) while my friend loved it but after watching it a second time, he too didn't think much of it.
I'm not saying my opinion speaks for everyone of course, but just that for me, it just didn't work. 5/10 and on a good day, maybe 6.
Oh, and I agree with Rules of attraction being underrated. (8/10)

I'm surprised that so little people loved this film. I personally thought it was amazing. 8 or 9/10 (have to watch it again, been a while).

My First Mister. Very good flick hardly anyone saw.
Pumpkin. My friends and I found it hilarious. We loved it.
Blow. Depp was great as was the supporting cast.
A.I.: Artificial Intelligence. Hands-down the best special effects I have ever seen. Spectacular film.
Planet of the Apes. So sure me, I liked this summer action flick....and yes, I also dig the original.
Willard. Glover was great and it was just a fun, quirky flick. So far my fav. or 2003.
Sleek Productions...I know you obviously dig Bamboozled, but what type of flick is it? Straight Comedy? Biting Satire? All-Around Enjoyable Movie? It doesn't matter to me what type of flick it is as I'm renting it this Friday (along with Crumb and Do the Right Thing).

Holy shit yes!! I totally forgot about this one which i loved (8/10). The critics all seemed to think it was decent, but the audiences hated it.
