Name these two movies

Hey All, If anyone can name these 2 movies fom my horrid description please help!

1st one: This movie basically revolves around a pit where a boy throws assorted things in : bike,kids, dog,and parents .


The second one is a lake setting with kids on a swimming platform. They are trapped on the platform because there is black oil/slime in the water that will kill them.


Any help is much appreciated.

Second one if I remember correctly is a story from Creepshow 2... I think.

First one doesn't ring a bell... sorry.

The first one I am pretty sure is THE PIT (1981).

The first one is The Pit as Cabrini Green said, and the second is The Raft, a short story in Creepshow 2.

Hey Giselle,i've seen creepshow 2 but never heard of that first one,the pit.It sounds kinda weird,why's this kid chucking stuff down a hole and what happens to him?

We cant tell you what happens to him because that would be wrong. He is chucking stuff down the pit because there are creatures living in it. Its an ok movie! Worth a watch anyway!!!
