I think people are starting to listen to reviews more than ever these days...Lots of bad reviewed movies aren't doing very good these days....Some examples are Tomcats, Freddy Got Fingered, Joe Dirt, Valentine, Say It Isn't So, Scary Moive 2 (70 million ain't bad but it isn't no 140 million...)So If American Pie 2's review's aren't that good it might not make as much money as the first...I think The Others may become a sleeper because it has very good word these a days....

American Pie 2 will get good reviews, all of the reviews I've read for it so far have been positive... I just know it will make more money, it's not that hard to top the first ones final gross, I think it made somewhere around 101 Million... And even if the reviews aren't that great, it should still bring in the money...

I don't know about the general public, but i hate the professional critics. They never agree on anything and are nothing but snobby, stuck up, outright jerks. I know because i tried ot watch them before and for god sakes, my ears started to bleed. So i don't listen to the reviews. I could care less. And i was surprised with POTA's turn-out. I thought it would do better than Rush Hour 2. But my god, 22 mil on the first day!
I saw it by the way, and i am not surprised it made so much. It ROCKS!!!

Im so happy for Rush Hour 2. For the past 3 weeks, huge movies came out. I think Rush Hour will hold up at first place next weekend too since American Pie 2 is a R rated film. Not many will be allowed to see it, and not many adults will see it either. Example my parents actually liked the original rush hour so thats why they watched jurassic, planet, and now rush hour 2. But wont watch Pie 2.

I think AMERICAN PIE 2 will be number one next weekend... It should have a HUGE opening weekend despite it's R rating... Besides, many 17+ will go see it. I think RUSH HOUR 2 will drop to around 30-35 Million next weekend...

Hell yeah! Rush Hour 2 defeated POTA at the box-office! I'm so happy! Hopefully, it can hold its reign for a couple of weeks.
