Hi everyone, just writing here to ask who will be attending the Halloween 25'th anniversary convention in Pasadena. For those of you who will be, do you have anything being shown at the fan film viewing? I ask this because a few years ago, some friends and I got together and made our own Halloween film which will be shown at the event.
There was a trailer made for it, and if you would like to view it, you can do so here.

As far as I know now there is just the one trailer available. However, we made a couple more which may be there now or up soon. If you want a copy of it, just right click and save target as.
Have at it and post your own fan stuff if you have some.:)
Isn't this considered spamming??

Although this veers dangerously close to spamming, I have to say that the trailer itself looks great considering that it's obviously a low budget production.
I'd definitely be interested in seeing this movie - any plans to post it on the net for download (i.e. the full film) or are you considering the possibilty of a DVD release? I'd be tempted to buy this, not only because of my love of all things Halloween, but to support the independant filmmaking Schmoes out there!
Hope you get a good response to the movie, but just a word of advice re your post - you might just want to check with Arrow and JoBlo before posting any other links - it'd be a shame to see a Schmoe with you obvious love of the genre banned for spamming! :)

First off I'd like to apologize if I have spammed the board. My foremost intention was to see who was attending Halloween 25, and if anyone had made anything for it. We did and I thought it'd be cool to show a little something. I very much want to see what anyone else has made as well. I won't be posting anymore links as I have nothing to advertise.
As for availability Fettdog, I know nothing of that as of now. Those of us who made it are the only ones who have copies on VHS. If made available, it would probably be for the cost of a blank tape. I could find out if the director/producer will do this, but it's not up to me, and I don't want to cause any more trouble than I may have already. (In regards to spamming/advertising)
I would leave contact info for the director/producer only on the ok of this sites administrators. That way you could find out whatever you wanted to know.
One thing is certain though, if you're going to the convention in October, you'll be able to see it.:)
Oh and RavenBlade, the song in the trailer is "Peepshow" by "Miranda Sex Garden".:)

I can't speak for Arrow, but as you're not actually promoting another site, just your film, then I personally don't see anything wrong with your link. :)
I'd love to attend the convention, but as I'm in merry olde England I won't be able to :( - best of luck with the film though - if the rest of the movie is a good as the trailer then I think you've got a winner on your hands!
Also, like Psychofreak, I'd be interested in what the actual plot is - maybe you could post it in a spoiler-friendly format for us?
(If you need guidance on how to do this, just click on this link.....)
