View Full Version : THE FILM PERFORMER TOURNAMENT PART 3!

Pages : [1] 2

dh1989

Mr. Paul Newman won the last film performer tournament, but now it is time for a new winner to be declared. The rules are simple: Once TEN or more schmoes have voted for either actor, a match will close, I'll tally it up, announce a winner, and move on. This will go on and on until only two are left. They'll face off, and the winner of that match will be declared the winner. Easy? Good. And without further ado......

LET THE TOURNAMENT BEGIN!

Even in his "prime", I never found Chase that funny, while I think Keaton is a very underrated actor who I miss seeing in cinemas. He gets my vote!

VS.

PATRICK STEWART

http://i.imdb.com/Photos/Ss/0253754/STX-11282.jpg

Statham is a talented man, and I look forward to his work in this month's The Italian Job, but I feel Patrick Stewart has proven his talent more due to his more exstensive career. He gets my vote!

Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, The African Queen, In a Lonely Place, The Big Sleep, The Petrified Forest, Sabrina, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, Angels with Dirty Faces, The Caine Mutiny, etc. etc. etc.[B]

You're right DH, [B]Bogie is the KING of cool and my favorite actor of all time. The films I mentioned above are my favorite performances and films of his (but of course I love him in EVERYTHING). He's a fast talker, a powerful and diverse performer, he has charm and charisma, he's very real there's never bullshit. My biggest idol ever and never disappoints.
