I only say this because I see the same topics...Rate My Top 10 whatever.

I seem to be voting for the same people on different polls. I'm guilty of doing a few myself but I'm starting to lose track of what I've voted on...

Are you referring to the Best/Worst forum? 'Cause I agree with you there. I haven't ventured into there for weeks now, since the whole forum is a messy hodgepodge of similarly inane polls. Maybe the moderator can take charge and clean his forum up?

You think best/worst forums are getting repitively bad, there are few other fourms mirroring the same also. But to stick to what Tony is adressing I either put my two cents into the thread or just steer clear from it.:D

tony makes a good point. i admit to have one or two like that myself, but i think there are now a few too many cooks and the broth has boiled away to some sort of nasty smelling sludge.

i dont venture into best/worst...much now because i get lost in the sheer number of topics of this type, and i find it a pain to sift through em all now.

i agree with Tony on the fact that the same choices come up again and again.....

if i see the following movies in a list again i will go crazy:

The shawshank redemption
goodfellas
godfather
Pulp Fiction
Clockwork Orange

and before you all say....i knowwww these are great classic movies.....but i dunno i just get tired of seein them over and over and over

But if you're going to point out the "Top 10 Movies/Directors/etc.", then you also have to mention the myriad "Who's the sexiest/hottest/babe-licious actress" polls. There are many variations on that topic.

I think you are doing Quentin a huge disservice. The Best/Worst/ forum is, by defintion, a poll forum and the threads are not actually breaking any rules...Therefore, Quentin is still doing a great job in policing the forum and making it work without censoring any threads for the Schmoes...Where would be the fun in that?

Personally, I only venture into that forum once in a hundred or so posts, and I see what you are saying, but you can't stop it - simply do what happened in the Celeb foum and Games Forum (make a sub-forum for the polls). That is all.

I agree there is nothing wrong with the forum but I think just recently these topics have exploded. And Reigh that is a great idea about having sub forums.

yeah those polls are getting on my nerves as well. if it was one or two, but the fact that i have to SEARCH for a non "whats your favorite of my favorite" topic, its getting annoying. grr...but obviously people aren't reading this thread, or they just don't care, cause those polls just keep on coming.

My last and final "your favorite of my favorite" thread I just want to get more responses, after that I won't do any of these polls anymore. They are getting a little out of hand.
