Burt Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg, Julianne More, Ricky Jay, John C.Reilly, Don Cheadle, Phillip Baker Hall, Thomas Jane, Nicole Parker, Alferd Molina, William H. Macy, Heather Graham and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
so what do you guys think...?

I'm not saying this just because it's my all-time favorite movie, but it's gotta be Pulp Fiction.

It has to be JFK. Tommy Lee Jones, Joe Pesci, Kevin Costner, Kevin Bacon, Gary Oldman, John Candy, Jack Lemmon, Walter Mattheau, Sissy Spacek, Donald Sutherland, and the real Jim Garrison. One hell of a cast in my opinion. I also thought Heat had a top notch cast as well.

Hmmmm....
Pulp Fiction for sure...
Ocean's 11 (01) had an awesome cast...
Dogma had a great fucking cast... remember, I'm a Kevin Smith mark...
Ditto for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back...
State and Main... Mammet can get great casts together...
Thin Red Line had an amazing cast... the movie was shit, but the cast was second to none!!

Glengarry Glen Ross - Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin, Kevin Spacey, Alec Baldwin, Jonathan Pryce...
Small, but perfectly formed.
True Romance - Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Gary Oldman, Chris Penn, Brad Pitt, Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Rapaport, James Gandolfini, Tom Sizemore...
Quite an impressive package.

Magnolia definately has a great cast. Some of my favorite actors (Tom Cruise, William H. Macy) are in there, as is one of my favorite actresses (Julianne Moore). Other than that, the rest of the cast is great as well.
Ocean's Eleven has a great cast.
As does any Kevin Smith movie, really.
Murder By Death... great old-time comedic cast.
And, of course, Pulp Fiction.

Although I loved the all-star casts in the afore-mentioned PULP FICTION, BOOGIE NIGHTS, MAGNOLIA as well as THE BIG CHILL, I'm going with a classic:
C A S A B L A N C A: Humphrey Bogart, Ingrid Bergman, Paul Henreid, Claude Rains, Sydney Greenstreet, Peter Lorre, et. al.
Annie Hall

I gotta agree with BadCoverVersion, definitely Glengarry Glen Ross. You don't get much better then that, Pacino, Lemmon, Spacey, Arkin, Harris, Baldwin...I get giddy merely thinking about it, even if the flick itself depresses me to no end.

I agree with JFK, Pulp Fiction, and True Romance. I would also add The Godfather, Platoon, Tombstone, The Royal Tenenbaums & 8 Women.
I know there are hundreds of other "great cast" flicks, but off the top of my head, only these stand out.

Magnolia (indeed!)
American Beauty
Gone With The Wind
Some Like It Hot
The Godfather
kurtz'killer is definitely right on two counts:
The Godfather: Marlon Brando, James Caan, Al Pacino, John Cazale, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton.
The Royal Tenenbaums: Owen Wilson, Luke Wilson, Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Stiller, Bill Murray, Danny Glover.

Agree with you 100%. Casablanca had a a-fucking-mazing cast!
Also:
ALL ABOUT EVE - Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, Celeste Holm, George Sanders, Thelma Ritter, Hugh Marlowe, etc.
I just watched it again (for the 4,000 time) and it's still as great as ever thanks to the witty dialogue and the work of it's ensemble cast.

I was just going to say that. An unconventional choice, but the names are stunning. Too bad they were all wasted (and someone forgot to tell Pam Grier she was in a comedy)

A few great casts:
Sidney Lumets MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS Sean Connery, Albert Finney, Lauren Bacall, Ingrid Bergman, John Geilguld, Anthony Perkins etc....in fact most of the 70-80's AGATHA CHRISTIE mysteries have stand out casts
John Sturges THE GREAT ESCAPE & MAGNIFICENT 7 have stellar casts in McQueen, Cogburn, Bronson, Yul Bryner etc and Richard Attenborough, Donald Sutherland, James Garner etc

Magnolia - Julianne Moore, John C. Reilly, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Tom Cruise, and William H. Macy lead an amazing ensemble!
I am also going to mention the movie State and Main . It wasn't my favorite movie or anything, but I always liked the ensemble. Alec Baldwin, Julia Stiles, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Sarah Jessica Parker, and William H. Macy were all very good in bringing their respective characters to life in a sleepy Vermont town.

American Beauty - Kevin Spacey, Annette Benning, Thora Birch, Mena Suvari, Wes Bentley, Chris Cooper

Spartacus has got to be up there. Kirk Douglas, Laurence Olivier, Peter Ustinov, Charles Laughton, Jean Simmons, c'mon!
Godfather is up in that company: Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert Duvall, James Caan, John Cazale, Diane Keaton, Sterling Hayden, my Lord.
How about Glengarry Glen Ross? Jack Lemmon, Al Pacino, Ed Harris, Kevin Spacey, Alec Baldwin, Alan Arkin, holy crap!

Traffic. I mean you got Benicio Del Toro, Dennis Quaid, Topher, Michael Douglas, and everyone else who rules. I don't even really like Dennis Quaid but for some reason I love him in this movie.

Quite an impressive package. Here, here. But Heat (1995, 10/10) gets my vote as the best.
