Sorry Se7en (10/10), but Fight Club (10/10) is slightly better.

oh, and another couple to add to your list: wut bout Identity (which just came out...lots of twists), Mulholland Drive [2001] (DEFINITE mindfuck), Brazil [1985] (sooo definitely a mindfuck), A Beautiful Mind [2001] (maybe...there is a big twist in the middle), and Vertigo [1958] (twisty/mindfuck)

Fight Club(5/10) pales in comparison to the brilliant Se7en(10/10). Fight Club is too contrived with itself and doesn't deliver nearly as well as Se7en does. Se7en #14 on my top movie list and is a true classic while Fight Club is merely forgettable.

I will have to take a look at that one then. Im not very good with complicated films though. Fight Club just made me frown all the way through and at the end I said 'what the fuck was that about'. Many people have tried to explain it to me and I do understand, I just dont think there was much meaning to it. Or maybe I just think there was no need for it. Im not even sure myself.

Hope your mother enjoyed it though.:p

Frailty (7/10) is giving Usual Suspects (150000000/10) a run for its money????!!!!

That's.....so disappointing!
I liked Frailty a lot (otherwise i wouldn't have bought it, i don't have that much money to spend) but Usual Suspects is SOO much more witty, funny, and entertaining...the dialogue is awesome. And the ending is totally awesome as well...whereas Frailty is unevenly spread, and one of the end twists i immediately had a feeling for...u know why? mainly because of usual suspects...Frailty reminded me of usual suspects in structure...it copied the man telling police/flashbacks technique, and that would've been fine, except that it also did a similar twist at the end...

oh and dh1989, personally, i would have to disagree. if usual suspects had ended right before the ending, i still would've loved it. this one movie literally changed me into a movie fan overnight, and that's certainly not due just to the ending.

actually, i think that usual suspects most likely influenced frailty significantly...

One more thing. Frailty does not hold up to repeated viewings well, imo. I've watched it three times, but each time, it quickly became boring, and a question of, when's the next scene coming.

Usual Suspects i have watched 15 times now, and I love it every time.

Sorry for that whole rant, but...

Frailty beating Usual Suspects...BETTER. NOT. HAPPEN. (or i'll shrivel up and...sulk...in a corner.

Damn, i guess i have to go and recruit ze424 to hurry up and get his (or her) ass up here and vote dammit :P

JCPhoenix

Easy for me...Sixth Sense (7.5-8/10) was a solid movie, but without the ending is sort of dull. Memento (10/10) is interesting throughout (tho I would say it'd also not quite work without its ending...or beginning? :P

I vote Memento
