Princess Mononoke

Has anyone seen Princess Mononoke, I am going to rent it this weekend and wanted to know what everone thought about it.

I just got thru watching this.... And Princess Mononoke is NO average Walt Disney kiddie movie. Theres a bit a gore action goin here but overall a VERY trippy story! And when I saay trippy, this one REALLY tops the cake maaan... Now I have reasons to go & rent "Spirited Away" now.....

I saw it in theatres like a year and a half ago...some school organization used it as fundraising at the indie theatre. Very cool movie...although not for the squeamish. Excellent story although the voice acting is sometimes off...I very much enjoyed it and would love to see a special edition made. I hope you like it as much as I did.

A great movie with an interesting fantasy plot, a good amount of gore, and alot of action.

Yeppers Just that the GORE parts which I wasn't prepared on wasnt enough to qualify for an R.

Yeah, rent it asap! A visually stunning movie, complex characters, an environmental-friendly message ...and last but not least: a GREAT animated movie! Princess Mononoke easily outdoes 90% of the live action flicks I know! :)
