Happy birthday to Uma Thurman who turns 33 today. I've always really enjoyed her performances, and I truly think she's gorgeous. What are your favorite movies/performances of hers?

I've seen only six...

Uma Thurman Performances
1) Mia Wallace in Pulp Fiction
2) Debby Miller in Hysterical Blindness
3) Amy Randall in Tape
4) Poisin Ivy / Dr. Pamela Isley in Batman & Robin
5) Emma Peel in The Avengers
6) Helena Robertson in Jennifer Eight

Uma Thurman Movies
1) Pulp Fiction (9/10)
2) Tape (7/10)
3) Hysterical Blindness (7/10)
4) Jennifer Eight (4/10)
5) Batman & Robin (3/10)
6) The Avengers (3/10)

I actually enjoyed her cheesy performances in Batman & Robin and The Avengers. She might have been a tad (but no more than that) better in Jennifer Eight, but since she was practically the only redeeming quality in those two movies, I put them above it.

PuLp Fiction is the gem in her crown.

I'm going to have to agree with you guys. Pulp Fiction is both her best film, and her best performance. Kill Bill, on the other hand, does look promising.

To quote syxxpac himself here, and I'm paraphrasing this: "Indeed."

Pilp Fiction (10/10) is her best film and performance. Followed by Dangerous Liaisons, Mad Dog and Glory, and Gattaca. Have not yet seen Beautiful Girls.

I'm surprised how many people are looking forward to Kill Bill. I think all the trailers look just terrible. I think if it weren't for the fact that Tarantino is involved, everyone would be predicting it a disaster.

Well said. My thoughts exactly.
