I saw this movie at a sleepover in elementry school and It was my first urban legends type movie . I love Sean Astin so of course I liked the movie for obvious reasons.
What does everyone else think about it!?!

I actually really like The Willies. Yeah it's cheesy, but fun to watch. The story with the kid who played Donkey Lips on Salute Your Shorts is really weird. That kid is freaky...flies...dioramas..crosses? He totally gets what he deserves in the end. I have The Willies on VHS and watch it occasionally. I like Sean Astin too!

I rented this at the suggestion of a friend and wasn't disappionted. It's good for those times when you want some fun with your horror.

I watched the willies several times as a kid, i know that it has plenty of Return of the Living Dead peoples in it, Brian Peck directed it, (he played Scuz in ROTLD) and you all saw james karen (played frank) and clu gulager (played burt)
and remember "WHATS GROSSER THAN GROSS?..."

I rented this a looong time ago when it was relatively new on video.
The story with the kid obsessed with dead flies (that was Donkey Lips?) was disburbing to me when I was little. Remember his "chocolate-chip cookies"? Gross.
Also, the receptionist 'Lucy' from "Twin Peaks" is in one scene (near the beginning of the movie, I think).
In one part, one of Sean Astin`s friends makes an in-joke reference to "The Goonies", so that was cool.
Wasn`t there a story about a monster in the school bathroom? And the kid locks the bully inside with it?

Yeah. That was the first story.
I remember this movie. Entertaining but not much more. It has the nun from The Blues Brothers in it. That movie is fucking great man. Dan Aykroyd is god.
