I am a Hulk fan, I've been reading him since the days when he had his short lived series to the over the top Tales to Astonished, and every single issue of Incredible hulk, even when it was really lame (which x-men fans can also attest to doing with their favorite comic)

So when the movie was announce I got the same "comic geek" woody I got when I saw the first Spider-man trailer (post-911).

The first trailer worried me a little, but the second trailer hit some high cool points.

But the third trailer ROCKED THE CASBAH. The scenes of Hulk were just too cool to deny. I will grant that it was no 1001 Smiths being tossed off in slow-mo (WHOA!) but I don't expect Hulk to out do Matrix Reloaded in any way shape or form. I expect it to be the Hulk, no cheap bust getting shot by bullet Lou in green paint, but the over the top, over angry, HULK SMASH Hulk.

I have one geek-bitch. He won't talk I am hearing. I loved the short live cartoon and though the way they did Hulk growl really made him menancing, but I am defined by the comic I love and Hulk Talk, Hulk Strongest one there is, Hulk smash. My other geek bitch is the same as mine for the Matrix Reloaded, that its not coming out tommorrow. D'OH!

As for the size, give me a break. Hulk has been more sizes then Oprahs undies. Any Hulk fan will tell you about when he look REALLY big in one of the most famous end slash pages "Honey, I'm Home!" - he was HUGE. Even the grey hulk started out as about the size of a big wrestler, but later on took on a size the made his hand bigger then a body builders chest expance. Its a stupid argument. If they do a remake, the next writer and directer will make him smaller.

Can't wait for this movie.

This new trailer has kinda got me interested now. It does seem to be looking very good, it might actually just make my top 10 to see list for the summer. Definitely not as "must see" as Matrix Reloaded, T3 or X2, but it looks fun.

I too cant wait to see the big green guy go apeshit on the bigscreen. This is my geek bitch they are making it out to seem like Bruces dad poisoned him with the monster at a young age that one day it would come unleashed on the world, unlike in the comic Bruces father is an alcoholic and killed his mother in a drunken stuper which made Bruce turn to science as his excape from everyday life, if the monster was inside Bruce then the death of his mother would have set him off. If my memory is good enough wasnt Bruce testing the worlds first gamma bomb and was accidentally hit trying to save someone?

And if you want good Hulk reading material try and find "What Savage Beast" by Peter David.

Nothing on the Planet is as must see as Matrix Reload. But I won't even try to compare them. Matrix is a given. Hulk is just Hulk.

One of the problems with almost any "Super Power" is a sense of reasonable explanation of its manifestation. For example, until John Bryne it was never really explained exactly how the sun give Superman his powers, it was just excepted that in a Red Sun solar system he was mortal, and in a yellow sun it is super.
Hulk is like "Them" or "Godzilla." Yeah, it a little fantastic to think such monster could be caused as a result of exposure to radiation, but if one tries to find scientific reasons for it its going to take a while. (Maybe they should give Alan Moore a crack at it one day, if he returns to comics.)
And lets face it, in the comic Banner stood barely a mile away from what is comparable to an Atomic explotion. If we are going to try make sense of anything we have to explain why he is not a cinder outline. So I except the change to the story. The basic premise is he gets exposed to gamma rays and Hulks out when stimulated (anger came later on, in the beginning Hulk changed with the time of day.) Everything else is just fluff to fill the movie between Hulk smashes.

Kick ass trailer, I can now scoff in the faces of those who bashed the Hulk’s CGI

SCOFF, SCOFF, SCOFF, SCOFF! :D

I can't believe some people actually think this looks bad... Even if it fails to be a truly good movie, at least it looks like a lot of FUN. Besides, the reports on the script range from good to great and the cast is about as good as it can get. And Ang Lee is a very talented director. I've even heard that in terms of action, the trailers so far haven't shown much at all... The final 20-30 minutes are still unseen. I will definitely see this.

HULK SMASH!

I've finally gotten interested in it now. Although it won't get me fully excited, since I've never really liked the comic character of the Hulk

I finally got interrested in this movie with the trailer before this one, and now this trailer just confirms my enthusiasm as being warranted. I was never a huge Hulk comic reader, so the whole thing of his father affecting his mutation doesn't really bother me, although it may bother others....

Any way you slice it, I can't wait to see this. It'll have trouble topping X2 for me because well....its X2, but I sill look forward to it

This new trailer makes it look even worse.
The CGI is so fake!

In the comic Bruce Banner’s Dad always thought he carried an evil gene and did not want to have children because of it. He was also near a radiation explosion (that he caused while he was drunk) and even thought he was told he was not exposed to it, he always believes he was. And when Bruce was born his dad believed Bruce was a monster and a mutant because of the evil gene and radiation exposure. It just seems like the movie took this a step further, kind of like Spider-Man’s organic web shooters. To where Banner’s dad purposely did this to him.

You are so 100% right! :D

I can't believe all this criticism the movie is getting! I think it looks great and fun and entertaining.

I can't believe that some people are still pissing and moaning abouth the special effects. The CGI Hulk looks fucking amazing. If I hear one more person say that they shouldn't have used CGI or that The Hulk looks too big i'm gonna do a little bit of hulking out myself. Too often CGI characters lack weight and presence. The Hulk has this in spades. This movie looks better with every damn trailer that gets released. This is now officially one of my top 5 most anticipated movies of the year.

What is the music used in the second half of the trailer? Is it from the score of the movie?
