***Spoilers***

We all saw Michael Myers open his eyes at the end of Halloween Reserrection now whats going to happen are they really going to make a sequel if they do this should be the last one i really enjoyed them but comeone enough is enough make Michael Myers die once and for all. They should still make it tho so we can know what happens and all watch him die at the very end.

Everyone who wants a say in this post it here know any info about this post it here. Thanks

Halloween: Resurrection was awful 2/10, another sequel would infuriate me.

I hate to say it, but this is the first time I have no interest in another Halloween sequel...

After part 4, there was not one I enjoyed much... I did enjoy the H6 Producers Cut alot, but that was never the official cut of the movie...

Part 8 was horrible and is said by many to be the worst in the entire series...

The only way I would want another sequel is if they actually took their time and try to make a good movie...

For example, Freddy vs Jason took 15 years to get started because they were looking for a good script... That is one of the reasons I look forward to it so much... New Line took plenty of time with it and actually tried to do a good job with the project...

Sure Jason X sucked, but that was a negative pickup that was delayed 100 times... The studio had nothing to do with it... I think New Line learned from their mistake...

Dimension (a division of Disney) is a pure money sucking cow... They throw out any vomit movie to cash off of... They dont care about most of their projects and they dont care if they are good. They only care about Box Office....

I am sure I could be talked into another Halloween movie... But, it would have to actually be good, and it needs to go in a different direction... I am just so disappointed after 8, I just dont know...

Seeing as their is already talk about greenlighting H9, I wouldnt doubt it... They are probably waiting to see how well Freddy vs Jason does... I would expect H9 to be greenlit by the end of the year.

If it does well, Moustaffa the cash cow will probably make Michael vs Ghostface or Michael vs Pinhead...

Sure, the vs idea is ok a few times, but god only knows what will come of it if it proves to be successful...

we should not see michael in any Vs. movies, infact i dont want to see him anymore,we've seen enough and it has been proven for the most part his time is done as far as solid exciting films are concerned.the lack of dimension caring or putting thought or time into this is one of the many reasons why the series has went downhill.H6 was the last solid sequel.

Yes, Halloween 8 was just so mind numbing it really killed the series to me... The worst part is I am a horror fan...

I think what would be best is to come up with new Interesting Iconic Horror Figures... The same way Freddy, Jason, and Michael became famous...

We need new figures with those iconic like qualities.... They just need to be new, different and fresh... Characters that the public and fans will love the same way they originally loved the original 3...

I have been looking for a new series to come along for a long time... One that will hold a place in history the same way the older ones did... One that I look forward to the sequels, etc.. It will be new so part 2 and part 3 wont bother people...

It's just time for new iconic figures...

Not bad. The Creeper comes to Haddonfield.

Michael Vs Ghostface would be funny and a short fight, mike would just pick up ghostface and drop him right down on his head, killing him or her instantly.

I could see it now

*telephone rings*

GF: Hello Mikey, whats your favorite scary movie?
MM: Breathes really hard into the phone
GF: What cat got your tongue?
MM: Breathes hard again
GF: Well your no fun. Bye.

Oh good lord,no!Don't put ideas in their heads...also,on the subject of the creeper and movielovers post about needing new iconic type horror figures,i thik the creeper can start the batch first in line,to me with the trailer alone of part 2 of jeepers creeper, this guy has unlimited potential to be the big face in horror. The Tooth fairy HAD potential, but bad word of mouth already isnt helping her out and the fact that it was so short and cut down, and bottom line i dont think she can and will. But the creeper IS another story.

Michael Myers was out of decent excuses somewhere around Halloween 4 or 5 (if memory serves, he ends up hunting the friends of his original family's nieces or something...), and I can't be the only one who saw H20 and thought "Well thank God they put that old dog out of its misery." Halloween, another dreadful teen slasher idea, that has LONG SINCE died.

The Creeper is like a B-Movie monster along the likes of Dracula, Wolfman, Frankenstein and the Creature and thats why I like him, he doesnt speak, he looks awesome!, and he makes a great face (no pun intended) face it hes our next horror movie icon. I would like to see a fight between The Creeper and Djinn now that would be kick ass! I made a Horror movie Character Vs Thread http://www.joblo.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=52162 since everyone is making similar threads like (comic book babe vs, Scruptious Sexy Female Vs Thread) I figured why not.

P.S. If there is any corporation listening in on my fantasy fight and is thinking of making a movie about it, I REPEAT! Do Not comply!

Well, the Halloween series was not a dreadful idea...

It was a really good idea back in 1978... It carried itself fine through 1988.... Thats when the series started to die... I say the series died by 1989 when H5 came out...

H5 sucked

H6 Theater Cut sucked

H6 Prod. Bootleg Cut... Pretty entertaining... 3rd best in series... Why they didnt put out this cut is beyond me... It was 100 times better then the one we got...

H20 was a watered down boring Scream clone... They even used the same music... It sucked...

H8 was an abomination... Would rank in the top 100 worst movies of all time...

So yes, in general this series died long long ago...

I'm not ashamed to say it.....

I loved them all, but hey,
I'm very easy to please.

A die hard Halloween fan,
will find the movies
outstanding, despite
the obivious flaws.

Could Halloween 8
been better, sure,
but it didn't disappoint me
in the least.

So, um, yeah, I am looking forward
to it, and I do not want to see the
series die, till the day I die.
So if you want the series to end,
send out visious hounds,
I'll be the one with two double barreld
shotguns in hand, and sucking down on a cherry flavored slurpy.
