That is the best summer movie poster I have seen, personally. I love it! I like when they only say the date and you see the charcters or something that has to do with the charcters! Like Spider-Man was the guy who started it all, Then Matrix copied and now FvJ.. And it looked like it is going to be a clasyish movie.

Cory is right... Jason X was meant as a parody of the Friday films so to speak...


Freddy vs Jason does take itself mostly seriously... Freddy still makes a few jokes, but that is his character... The lines he makes are some good ones though...

This movie is a mixture of the tone of Nightmares 1,3,7 and Fridays 1-4, 6 from what I have heard.... The movie visually looks like a cross between Friday 6 and Wes Cravens New Nightmare...

Freddy himself is the darkest he has ever been with qualities thrown in from each of his movies... He is said to give his best performance yet....

Jason is being classified as very brutal and mean spirited the way he once was... He is also the tallest and most threatening he has ever been...



So, I would expect a serious movie for the most part... It is a throwback to the 80's in a way, so I wouldnt be expecting any parody movie...

Freddy vs. Jason is going to kick major ass and those screening reviews and now the site got me really excited. Wait till the teaser tralier comes out, all us horror fans are going to go ape shit. Rock on!!!

and a throwback to the 80s as movielover said,is only great news,as thats what new horror films should look back at for advice on how to make some classy,fine,exciting worthwhile films.
