Witchcraft has a an impressive 11

How can Witchcraft have so many sequels? I knew there were 11, but have any of them done well? If so, why haven'tI seen any of them? If not, why so many sequels?

There are actually 12 of them (well, okay 11 sequels then the original = 12). I'm not sure if the 12th one, subtitled Liar of the Serpent, has been released on video yet.
As far as why there were so many sequels, I think it just had to do with the fact they were cheap to make (straight to video and all). I believe the first 3 are really tame, while the 4th one with Julie Strain, started the trend of them becoming 'erotic horror'. Many had R and unrated versions as well.
As the series progressed the budgets got smaller and the bust lines got larger. Now, they are nothing more than half naked women (sometimes more) in a horror film with little plot- not that I'm complaining. :)
