Gambit Movie?

I have heard a few rumours about Gambit being excluded from the X-men movies because they were planning a Gambit film. This also has something to do with the similarity in character between him and wolverine.

Oh yeah...btw, I read the other gambit posts and I think Christian Bale would be awesome!

hmm,never heard anything like that,but then again i dont consider myself too huge of a comic book fan so i could be wrong.But that could be possible,and if they did so,bale is the man for them definetly,as long as he doesnt get picked up by batman first :)

Er... love Gambit as I do, and I do, aren't there enough Marvel projects that have no real point to them? Silver Surfer and Fantastic Four will be abysmal, and the confusing fans-only X2 was only good because of a dozen decent action scenes. There's already talk of a Wolverine movie, a whole movie for a character some people haven't even heard of seems a bit daft.

Still, this is a world where The Italian Job remake gets the green light...
