Ive been patiently waiting for the last film in the trilogy to come out now for quite some time. Why has this film taken so long to come out? Was it due to possible bad reviews croping up at test screenings. With a cast that includes Depp,Banderas,Dafoe,Rourke,Hayek and Cheech i really dont see how this film can go wrong.Apparently we only have to wait another 4 months but didnt this film complete shooting atleast a year and a half ago!

Still,Fuckin A!

Blame Spy Kids... the studio wanted him to get the sequels out before the kids got too old. Which is kewl, and understandable. I love the Spy Kids franchise (so far), so I'm kewl with that... but NO MORE FREAKIN DELAYS!!!

I don't think bad "test screenings" would make Robert too worried. 99% of TS aren't done properly anyway. They rarely ever the get demographic for the movie, so most TS score low... and that's why they don't work. To me, any director (remember, not studio, director) who would do a clusterfuck change to his movie cause of ONE bad TS, is a fucking tool of the industry. In rare occasions they do work for the better (see the original Final Destination ending), but for the most part... well... people are stupid.

Looks pretty good to me, too. Hopefully this will do to El Mariachi and Desperado what The Good the Bad and the Ugly did to Fistfull of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More (blow 'em out of the water!).

On a side note, am I the only one who doesn't like the Once Upon a Time in...prefix that much anymore? Leone used it well in Once Upon a Time in America, but now it kind of seems to imply self parody.

I'm eagerly looking forward to this. It sounds great.

I have always considered Rodriguez to be very talented filmmaker who just hasn't reached the top of his game yet. This could be the film to make him a truly important filmmaker.

I also love the title. It's an obvious nod to Leone, but I find it very fitting.

This is a must see movie.

This was the second movie on my top 5 list to see this year.

1. Terminator 3
2. Once apone a time in mexico
3. Kill Bill
4. Matrix Reloaded
5. Freddy Vs. Jason

I really like El Marichi, and Desperado. Hopefully, this will be as good, if not better than the previous installments in the trilogy.

I have one beef with Rodriguez though.......WTF? Why would Robert Rodriques not go with these great shoot em' up movies (Desperado, From Dusk Till Dawn) all the time, and go with Spy kids and the Facilty? Whatever, I still like him as a director, it's just i think he should stay away from these little kid movies, and go make more action movies for action fans.

He has great potential, but I hate to see him waste it on the kiddies.

Do you all agree?

I think hes finished with his little Spy Kids thing (thank goodness) and now he can do whats important. Big action movies like you said :)

Yeah, Rodriguez's best work has been his "Burrito Westerns" or whatever, but I really enjoyed Spy Kids. The second two look wretched, so I don't dare see them. The Faculty sucks hard.

Hopefully, this will be his best.

Bring it on, this sequal looks to be amazing. I loved Desperado and El Mariachi, these modern spagetti westerns have great spirit!
