Tobey Maguire is cute and all, but come on....

I'm just going to bash some actors every week or so. This week I have bashed Adam Sandler and Colin Farrell so far, and now it's Peter Parker himself Tobey Maguire.

I like the guy, I was a fan of his long before Spider Man came out. But now he's just SO popular. Ladies love him, fans are crazy about him and one of my friends is OBSESSED with him. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but there are bigger fish in the sea. Tobey's cute, but it just kills me that soooooooooo many people consider him a 'hunk'. He's far from it if you ask me, he's actually far from the best looking actor, but after Spider Man, he's getting more and more exposed. I just do NOT think he's one of those 'pretty boys' material, he's attractive in that dorkish kind of way, and he's a good (but slightly overrated) actor. A hunk, he isn't, yet people are crazy about him just because of his looks. Although I may come off as one when it comes to Nicole Kidman, I am NOT a shallow person, but there are people that I know who will only judge Tobey because of his looks and such and.........when they go overboard it ticks me off.

I actually don't think I'm bashing Tobey here at all, just a problem I have with him (silly me :rolleyes: ).

Go nuts, man! I think it's awesome that you like these actors as actors despite what you think about their personalities.

It get's pety when it's all about this or that.

Now, there are some celebs who I wouldn't like if they did something very horrible. If I were to look at them I would be reminded of the awful things they have done.

That's different though.

It's cool man, cause deep down you are such a movie fan.



And no, I don't think Tobey deserves to not get this admiration.

I think it's great, because he is not the standard definition of "hunk"

He is moving the bar for the more geeky individuals.
