Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine - 30 Something

I'm going out on a limb here. Carter USM were a band that existed in the early to late nineties. They released an album, 30 Something, sometime during 1991. I just downloaded it (I used to own a cassette but it was worn out years ago). Anyway...I figured that when I listened to this album after all these years it would wash right over me. I'd perhaps even be embarassed at the very idea that I liked it all those years ago. Wrong. It's a fucking cracking album even now. Are there any UK schmoes who remember this band and specifically this album? It's full of catchy pop/rock anthems with a social conscience (usually songs with a social conscience piss me off...here it's cool).

i posted a song not long ago on the download game off that album i think"the only living boy in new cross" they were a pretty good band had quite a unique sound but seamed to disapear off the face of the earth as quickly as they came.
